bigBANG! was a BIG BANG for many, especially for Drink Local. Drink tap., Inc.!
Have you heard of the Social Venture Partners (SVP) bigBANG! event? In 2013, I am honored to have been selected to fast pitch Drink Local. Drink Tap., Inc.’s mission to over 300 people April 10th at Cleveland State University. After the proposal and selection process in late 2012, eight organizations were selected (instead of the typical five) to share our social innovations and inspire others to become a part of moving our missions forward.
Being involved in the SVP muti-month process of working with a SVP speech coach, the other seven non-profits, meeting Dan Pallotta and developing materials for bigBANG! guests has truly allowed us to experience a period of positive growth. Thank you to the SVP investors, partners, board, volunteers, coaches and staff for all of your support.
I am honored to say, Drink Local. Drink Tap., Inc. won the $5,000 “I would volunteer award” thanks to a voting audience and to Chann-Fowler-Spellman and Ed Spellman. We also won a year membership to the Corporate Sustainability Roundtable!
Lastly, thank you Emily Baunach and Michele Kilroy for your support in volunteering your time at our booth!
