This year is about Inspiring Action
Since 2010, we’ve witnessed thousands of people become inspired to take action to improve water quality and access. In 2021, DLDT has been hyper-focused on inspiring action, especially with our youth. Taking action to solve water issues is complex, so we make it easy to engage and build a more sustainable water future, for all.
This year, we created new, relevant STEM curriculum for educators to connect young people to real world problems and solutions. We offered zoom visits with schools from Uganda to Cleveland, hosted a virtual World Water Day, and have scheduled beach cleanups all summer-long. In Uganda, we’ve continued helping people access new water sources and toilets so they can survive and hopefully thrive.
This year, we are honored to host Dr. Terri Wade-Lyles from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District as our special guest. Dr. Lyles will speak about DLDT’s partnership with CMSD and the importance of inspiring global citizens who are concerned for and connected to the natural world.
Join us on September 9th to be inspired to take action to ensure everyone has access to clean water.
