Bweyongede Primary School (Sanitation)
The Problem
Unsafe, collapsing latrines barely serve almost 1200 people at Bweyongede Primary School. This leads to sometime permanent drop-out of older girls, less motivation to attend school by parents, teachers and staff, and the dangers of poor sanitation are serious disease like typhoid.
The Solution
DLDT needs to construct four VIP (drainable) latrine blocks to accommodate girls, boys, and teachers. Each will have a hand washing facility (HWF), handicap accessibility and small child-friendly innovations.
