People Served: 500 students (325 are girls) and 9 teachers. P1-P7

The Problem

Kasozi was not going to be able to open for the February 2019 school-term due to lack of latrines. The district, parents and teachers were at a loss. 500 students had been sharing one 5-stance latrine for boys, girls and teachers- it was not healthy and no longer safe and collapsing.

The Solution

DLDT was able to prioritize this project, though they are still in need of water, so that students could go back to school. Days before the term, the news was shared that they would have new latrines. Everyone was shocked and thankful.
