World Water Day & Service Learning

Drink Local Drink Tap > Education > World Water Day & Service Learning

    Celebrating 17 Years!

At the end of March every year, 4th – 8th grade youth and educators are invited to join Drink Local Drink Tap together at the Great Lakes Science Center in celebration of World Water Day. World Water Day. The United Nations started WWD in 1993, to celebrate water and raise awareness about the 2 billion people living without access to safe water. This day encourages people to learn about the global water crisis and find new ways to help. Each year focuses on a different theme, and this year’s theme is Water and Gender.

For information about our program, please email Lana Radl, Education Program Manager at Drink Local Drink Tap: wavemaker@drinklocaldrinktap.org
