World Water Day & Service Learning
Celebrating 15 Years!
On Friday, March 22, 2024, 4th – 8th grade youth and educators are invited to join Drink Local Drink Tap together at the Great Lakes Science Center in celebration of World Water Day. World Water Day is celebrated every year on March 22nd. The United Nations started WWD in 1993, to celebrate water and raise awareness about the 2 billion people living without access to safe water. This day encourages people to learn about the global water crisis and find new ways to help. Each year focuses on a different theme, and this year is Leveraging Water for Peace.
To confirm your registration, please email Alana Lesnansky, Operations Lead at Great Lakes Science Center: lesnanskya@glsc.org
